The event was attended by many who toured the property and watched a live demonstration of tree harvesting using the cut to length mechanical harvesting procedure.
This event was unique in a way that it included Madden Sustainable Forestry, recipient of the Logger of the Year award; Pam Wells, recipient of the Maine Tree Farmer of the Year award; and Kirby Ellis, recipient of the Maine Forester of the Year award.
